Mountain Mama has 2 new single origin coffees available! We are proud to introduce you to our Mexico Chiapas and Uganda Rwenzori coffees. Mexico is often not thought of as a premier coffee destination by many including me until a few years ago when I was blown away by a bag of Mexico Chiapas roasted by the Blue Bottle company out of San Francisco. Since then I have been won many times over by a good cup of Mexcian coffee. The tasting notes reads:
"This coffee produces a very sweet, clean and delicate cup, with flavors of honey, graham and caramel, a soft yellow apple acidity and a gentle finish. "
Having our roots in Uganda, we have been trying to find a way to get a good quality Ugandan coffee that we are proud of. We finally found it on the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains. A high quality Arabica coffee, dry processed, that has the profile we were looking for. Tasting notes on this one read:
"This coffee exhibits many characteristics of what has come to be expected of a great East African cup of coffee. The cup is clear and bright, exhibiting notes of bright citrus flavors balanced by sweet pomelo accents that are pronounced in a smooth and mellow finish."
Sit down, take some time and enjoy. We look forward to hearing what you think. Go to the mountain mama roasters Facebook page to see how you can get a special deal on either of these new coffees.
